The Director General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu has stressed the need to equip Nigerians with the necessary patriotic Orientation with which they can become partners in the work of developing the country.
He said this as he received the management of Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre led by their DG, Adesoji Eniade, mni. The team was at the NOA headquarters to seek collaboration on awareness creation of the work they do at centre and also to provide its facilities for training of NOA personel.
The DG of NOA who committed to a partnership with the Centre acknowledged the parastatal's workload, pointing out that the collaboration would be beneficial to both parties, he emphasized the need to harmonize the agencies message to Nigerians.
The DG of CLTC emphasized their unique positioning in the ministry of Youth Development, reminding that the bulk of Nigerians fell into the youth category. He further explained that Youths were categorized as Youth in Education and Youth out of Education, explaining that the latter holds priority in the Re-orientation programme.
