Borno Flood Victims: Gov. Kefas fulfills Promise.

 N100 Million To Borno State Government
N25 Million to Borno Emirate Council

N50 Million With Food Items to Students and Tarabans Living In Maiduguri



 Taraba State Government has fulfill it promise to Victims of  Borno Flood, you will recall that the Commissioner of Information and Re-orientation Barr Zainab Usman Jalingo, had earlier issued a statement according to the state 


"His Excellency, Dr. AgbuKefas, the Executive Governor of Taraba State, has approved a N175 million relief package to support the people and government of Borno State"


She said the funds will be distributed as follows:


N100 million to the Government of Borno State to support ongoing relief efforts in response to the flooding in the state.


N50 million for the Taraba State community residing in Borno, to assist them in coping with the impact of the flooding.


N25 million to the Borno Emirate Council as a gesture of solidarity to aid in alleviating the effects of the flooding in Borno State.


In the same vein, relief materials, including bags of rice, vegetable oil, and blankets, have already been dispatched to Borno State to succor the effects of the  flooding.


Taraba News gathered the government has fulfill this promised to all the concern.


A high powered delegation lead by the Speaker of the Taraba State assembly has earlier presssented a N100 Million check on behalf of the government and people of Taraba State.


The Commissioner of Special Duties and Disaster Management Hon. Savior Noku led the delegated to deliver N50 Million With Food Items to Students and  Tarabans Living In Maiduguri and also The sum of N25 Million to Borno Emirate Council
