EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF WUKARI LOCAL GOVERNMENT CONDEMNS ATTACK ON TRAVELERS BY SUSPECTED TIV MILITIA 

Wukari, Taraba State - The Executive Chairman of Wukari Local Government Council, Hon. Agbu Samaila Dauda, has condemned the recent attack on innocent travelers along Tsokundi roads in the Wukari Local Government area of Taraba.

The attack, which occurred on 21th June 2024, claimed the lives of three innocent citizens, leaving others injured and  car burnt down. This senseless act of violence by Tiv militia is unacceptable and has no place in our society.

The Executive Chairman wishes to express his heartfelt sympathies to the families of those who lost their loved ones as a result of this attack. He also wishes a speedy recovery to those who sustained injuries during the attack.

Hon. Agbu Samaila Dauda assures the public that thorough investigation is ongoing to bring the perpetrators of this heinous act to book. He urges the members of the public to remain calm and law-abiding while the investigation is ongoing.

The Executive Chairman further calls on the security agencies to intensify efforts towards securing lives and property in the area. He also urges the members of the public to support the security agencies in their efforts to maintain law and order in the area.

The Executive Chairman wishes to remind the members of the public that violence is never a solution to any problem. He calls on all stakeholders to embrace dialogue and peaceful means of resolving any grievances they may have.

Hon. Agbu Samaila Dauda assures the members of the public that his administration remains committed to the safety and security of the people of Wukari Local Government Area.
