GASSOL LG DISTRIBUTES FOOD TO EASE ECONOMIC HARDSHIP

MUTUM BIYU – In a  effort to alleviate the economic difficulties faced by residents, Hon. Abubakar Sadiq, the chairman of Gassol Local Government Area, has initiated distribution of food items across the  twelve wards of the local government.

This initiative aims to provide relief during the ongoing economic crisis affecting many Nigerians.

The distributed items included essential staples such as rice, millet, guinea corn, and maize. These commodities are vital for the daily sustenance of the local population, many of whom have been struggling to make ends meet due to rising prices and economic instability.

Chairman Sadiq emphasized the importance of the distribution, stating that it was a necessary step to mitigate the hardships faced by the people in this challenging economic climate. “Our primary goal is to ensure that our people do not go hungry during these tough times,” he remarked. “We understand the struggles that many families are experiencing, and we are committed to supporting them in any way we can.”
