The Northeast Nigeria Youth Christian Initiative paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Commissioner of Education, Taraba State, Dr Augustina Godwin in the ministry’s headquarters, Jalingo.
Led by Mr. Timothy Fashim, the youth organization which drawn youths from the six northeastern states were at the ministry to congratulate the commissioner and applaud her on the good works and the giant strides she is making in and outside Taraba state.
The leader noted that they were also at the ministry to tap from the wealth of knowledge, hardwork and political sagacity of the workaholic commissioner which they are always proud of.
Responding, Dr Augustina thanked them for the visit and assured them of the support of the youth friendly Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas. She stressed the need for unity and cooperation amongst the youth as that is the only thing that will help them grow as a body and achieve their organizational goals. She called for tolerance and mutual understanding across religious beliefs.
Dr Augustina was made the National Patron of the Christian youth body who will be a mother figure in counseling and advising the youth for the betterment of the society.
In the meeting was the Secretary of the ministry, Mr Abel Bako Joachim.
