In an open letter to the executive Governor of Taraba state,

Gov Agbu Kefas PhD. the concern Gassol Christian Youths , has drawn the attention of his Excellency to the ongoing political situation in Gassol, stressing that they are being marginalized despite delivery election to PDP.

It can be recalled that  in the last election in 2023 stiff opposition was made against the governor because ,the NNPP candidate Prof Sani Yahaya is from Gassol LGA. But after election when gov Kefas was declared winner,in time of given position the Christian community was left behind in Gassol, during the time of local Government election out of the 12 wards councillors, Christians were given only 2 slot and vice chairman,  many Christian thought in the remaining position things will go Normal but ,still nothing was changed. the governor when ahead in the instructions of former deputy governor Engr Haruna Manu ,and gave his former SSA new media hon Muslim aruwa, commissioner slot.

Recently the list of supervisors councillors and advisers were out but out of the 7 supervisors councillors the Christian community were given just one slot hon. Jalo Lagie.

Taraba News gathered that in all the 27 advisers only 4 slot were allocated to the Christian community.

However, the concern Christian youth called on the attention of his Excellency to look this matter with strict look and do the needfull.     They  also  suggested that the last election results of 2023 should also be looked at, in order to prove that most of the votes cast for PDP in Gassol  are from the christians community.

"that's why we come in one umbrella to voice out our problem ,

Because everybody knows the role and abuse the Christian community have received during that election but it has now become all in vain because there is nothing they have now gain after suffering.

We hope our cry for justice will be taken into consideration." They said.
