MEET THE NEW DANLAWAN ZING

Prof. Ejika Sambo was born in the year 1967, 13th September at Yaboro village in Abong ward, Kurmi Local Government Area of Taraba State, Nigeria. He attended Abong primary school from 1973 - 1980, Where he obtained his first school certificate in the year 1981 and was admitted into Government secondary school Baissa, where he obtained (WAEC) in the year 1986. In the same year 1986, he got admitted into college of preliminary studies (CPS) Yola and obtained IJMB certificate in 1988. He proceeded to Usman Dan Fodio University in the year 1991-1995 and obtained (B.SC) in Management Studies. After his one-year youth service (NYSC) in the year 1996, he got employed with Abdul Gusau Polytechnic Talata Mafara in Zamfara state in the year 1997-2003.

In between this period, he enrolled for a Master Degree at Usman Dan Fodio University Sokoto, and obtained Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) in 1999, Master of Science Degree in Economics, (M.Sc.) 2004, graduate diploma in education 2003, chartered institute of administration Lagos (LCIA) 2002, and Diploma in computer studies 2000. 

In 2016 he obtained Ph.D. in general management. In 2021, he obtained certificate in entrepreneurship development training from institute of management consultants, Abuja. He also obtained certificate in management specialist with the same institute in 2021.

In 2003 he got employment with the Adamawa State University Mubi, and in December 2005, he moved to Federal University of Technology Yola, now Modibbo Adama University and in 2023 January, he was appointed the Provost College of Education Zing, Taraba state after a thorough interview. 

Prof. Ejika is married with two children and four adopted children.

He belongs to the following professional bodies, The institute of management consultants fellow (IMC-CMC), The academy management of Nigeria (member) 2018, Association of business specialist and entrepreneurs (member) 2010, International Research and development institute (member) 2009, Nigerian Institute of Management (Associate member AMNIM) 2002

He also obtained many merit awards.
