The wife of the Taraba State Governor Mrs Agyin Kefas has built and Commissioned Antenatal Complex at Taraba Specialist Hospital Jalingo.
While commissioning the project she said "today marked a significant milestone as I proudly commissioned the new Antenatal Complex at the Specialist Hospital Keeping my promise from an insightful visit to the Antenatal unit in October 2023, witnessing the congested conditions firsthand, I recognized the urgent need for a space that prioritizes the health and well-being of every pregnant woman$ She added.
According the Mrs Kefas the complex is designed to provide a conducive environment, ensuring that every expectant mother receives the necessary education on proper nutrition, cessation of substance abuse, uptake of family planning, recognition of danger signs, and comprehensive birth preparedness. It's a commitment to promoting not only physical health but also empowering mothers with the knowledge they need for a safe and joyful journey into motherhood.
