Sir,
REQUEST FOR SETTING ASIDE THE SELECTION OF HON. YUSUF ALLURA BY HON. JOSEPH TITUS NAGOMBE LED COMMITTEE AS THE CHAIRMAN GASHAKA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND THE COUNCILORS BEING UNDEMOCRATIC AND AGAINST THE POLICIES OF THIS ADMINISTRATION AND THE PARTY AT LARGE.
Sequel to the subject matter captioned above under your authority, we write to most humbly request that you should use your good office to interfere and ensure that justice is done to the most loyal members of this party.We submit that the selection made the committee above was nothing short of injustice couple with tribal cleansing.
The said Umar Yusuf Allura who is purportedly selected as the chairman was an ardent member of All Progressive Congress (APC) under which he contested and won the seat of the Member representing Gashaka Constituency in the 2015 election and he was the member of the same party until 2019 when he decides to join the PDP, not only that he emanated from Jamtari ward, the anti-PDP ward, till date PDP has never won Jamtari ward, the most disturbing scenario is that the said Umar Yusuf could not even deliver his polling unit to the PDP in the just concluded election.There are thousands of party loyalist whom have labor for the party from time immemorial but very unfortunate they were all sidelined by the committee.
Finding shows that a distinct meeting was held prior to the general meeting led by Hon. Joseph Titus Nagombe and few stakeholders and agendum was set to imposed the said Yusuf Umar Allura on the loyal party members.
Furthermore, the same Jamari Ward produce a Commissioner in the just concluded tenure of His Excellency Arch. Darius Dickson Ishaku, sir this action establishes a grave marginalization of other wards and tribes of Gashaka Local Government Mr. chairman sir, this very action has ridiculed the loyal party members and discourage most of the stakeholders and their followers been the foot-soldiers of this party from time immemorial.
We therefore write and call for your urgent intervention to make sure that justice is done to the loyal and bonifide members of this party so as the PDP will keep on reigning in the Gashaka Local Government.
