Evang. Ephesian Jesse (JP), the chairman of the youth wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) in Taraba state, has strongly denounced the appalling act of violence that occurred during a naming ceremony in Jalingo. This incident, which took place in Gullum area of Jalingo, Taraba State, resulted in the loss of one life and caused numerous injuries.
Traditionally, naming ceremonies are joyous occasions among the Kona people. However, this particular event took a dark turn. Evang. Jesse Ephesian expressed his profound disappointment with the destructive behavior that unfolded, calling on the youth to redirect their energy towards more positive endeavors. He urged them to refrain from engaging in disputes over women and instead focus on meaningful pursuits.
