Executive Governor of Taraba Receives Kuteb/Fulani Peace Committee's Report Amid Ongoing Crisis

In a crucial development towards resolving the persistent conflict between the Kuteb and Fulani communities, Dr. Agbu Kefas, the Executive Governor of Taraba, has received the long-awaited Report of the Kuteb/Fulani peace committee. Chaired by Rev. Yakubu Shamaki, this committee was entrusted with the vital responsibility of finding lasting solutions to the escalating tensions.

Despite the efforts made by the government and security agencies, the communities in Taraba State continue to grapple with unsettling attacks and forced displacements. The committee, in its thorough examination, has put forth special recommendations targeting the root causes of the conflict.
