Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas promises to pay all the entitlements of the past governors and their deputies that served in the state.
The governor made this known when he received the former governor of the state Jolly Nyame and the former deputy governor Armanyau Abubakar at the government house jalingo.
During the visit the governor stated that it is important for all the stakeholders of the state to put their heads together for the betterment of the state.
He also mentioned that it is the collective responsibility of every Taraban to come up with their wealth of experience to contribute their quarter to development of the state.
The former governor of the state Jolly Nyameh applauded the governor for building up on the structures put in place by its predecessors, adding that government is a continuous process.
Rev. Jolly Nyameh, commended the government’s commitment in ensuring every Taraban is carried along in the process of building the state.
Also speaking the former deputy governor Abubakar Armanya'u pledged their support to the government of Kefas Agbu
Abubakar Armanya'u appealed to the governor to involve other critical stakeholders who are resident in Abuja stressing that, most of them are tools to be used in developing the state to an enviable level.
Still during the meeting, the State Governor has sworn in one additional commissioner to serve in the State Hon. Shozen Bernard
Governor Agbu Kefas charged the new commissioner to live up to the expectations of meeting the mandate of his ministry.
While administering the oath of office, the Chief Justice of the State Joel Agya administered the oath of allegiance on the the commissioner.
The new commissioner Bernard Shonzen hails from Yorro Local Government area of the state is the youngest of all the commissioners.
