Gombe State Delegation Pays Courtesy Visit to Governor Agbu Kefas

A delegation from the Gombe State government paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Agbu Kefas, the Executive Governor of Taraba State. Led by the former Deputy Governor of Gombe State, distinguished Senator Joseph Dagara, representing Gombe South, as well as other notable dignitaries, the visit took place today at the Taraba State Government House in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital. 


Senator Siyako Anthony Yaro, speaking on behalf of the delegates, expressed their support and solidarity to the administration of Dr. Agbu Kefas. He commended the governor's initiative for free education and emphasized the importance of collaboration in an era of borderless technology. 


Yaro further described Governor Agbu Kefas' administration as one that stands out from the rest. Despite being physically distant, Yaro assured that they are fully behind the governor and his government. Concluding his speech, Senator Yaro acknowledges Governor Agbu Kefas as a trailblazer. 


General Amnon Kwaskebe (rtd), the Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe State who was also part of the delegation, commended the governor for starting his tenure on a solid foundation. He viewed the governor's success as a victory for the entire PDP team and expressed his joy for the people of Taraba State. Kwaskebe congratulated Governor Agbu Kefas and invoked the saying, "the young shall grow," highlighting the governor's youthful leadership. 


The former Deputy Governor of Gombe State expressed his admiration for the government and its people. He echoed the sentiments of Chairman Kwaskebe, emphasizing their visit as a demonstration of support and happiness for Taraba State and its government. He enciuraged the governor to continue with the responsibility of nurturing the Nigerian and Taraba youths and he highlighted the agricultural potential of Taraba State. 


The Managing Director (MD) of Mesotho Group, representing Gombe South, highlighted the solidarity of the delegation and their mission to facilitate cooperation between Gombe State and Taraba State. He assured Governor Agbu Kefas that they were praying for his success and presented a gift item, a portrait of the governor, on behalf of Gombe South and Mesotho Group. 


The governor warmly welcomed the delegation from Gombe South and Mesotho Group to Taraba State. He perceived their visit as an act of solidarity and collaboration and referred to them as "the wise men that followed the light." Governor Agbu Kefas pledged to consider their advice and expressed his commitment to serving the people of Taraba State. 


In his address, the governor stressed the importance of quality education as the foundation for growth and productivity. He acknowledged the challenges of limited resources but commended their determination to make the most of what they have. Governor Agbu Kefas expressed his belief that Taraba State would become a united and progressive state under his leadership. 


Prophet Isa El-Buba praised Governor Agbu Kefas for selecting youth in his government, hailing Taraba State as a beacon of hope for the entire Middle Belt. He prayed for God's grace to be upon the governor as he leads the people toward a greater Taraba. 


The solidarity visit climaxed with the governor posed for photographs together with the entire delegation of Gombe State.
