Papyrus Magazine has has honoured the former Commissioner in the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, Taraba State, Honourable Solomon Elisha, with the Most Outstanding Commissioner of The Year award.
Speaking on 6 June 2023 at Nigerian National Merit Award House in Maitama, Federal Capital Territory Abuja, the media outfit described the accolade as a recognition of the laudable policies and leadership prowess run by the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning in Taraba State under the supervision of the commissioner. One of such feats is the State's revolutionary National Digital Economy Policy and Development. As Papyrus Magazine's Most Outstanding Lawmakers Award event, the occasion witnessed a quite impressive turnout of distinguished personalities from the 10th National Assembly, as well as leaders and public office holders.
There were also several award presentations, including presentation of awards to Senate President, His Excellency Senator Ahmed Lawan CON, in recognition of his Dynamic Leadership Qualities; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, for Active and Passionate Representation; Distinguished Senator Rochas Okorocha for Outstanding Representation; Senator George Thompson Sekibo CON, for Great and Passionate Service; Hon. Babangida Ibrahim for Dedicated and Extensive National Impact; and Senator Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, for his Tactical Efforts of Human Development.
The prestigious and historic Lawmakers Award is one that has recorded significant impacts over the years.
