Bang Nation Celebrates 59th AGM.

 

Chief Barr. Gebon Timothy Kataps Ngwii, Secretary to the Government of Taraba State (SGS) today, joined distinguished family, friends,  and associates to celebrate the 59th BCDA AGM at the Headquarters of the Bang Nation in (Bang-Fihm), on the Mambilla Plateau Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State, where the tomb of the first Paramount Ruler, Tohkimchim of Bang Mambilla Plateau rest. Providing a solemn and meaningful backdrop for the event. 

Chief GeeTee Kataps Ngwii  the SGS Taraba State, a consanquinous and prominent BCDA member speaking at the 59th AGM highlighted the importance of the association and values in fostering unity, development, discipline among it's members emphasizing its deep values and connections on the Mambilla Plateau and beyond. 

The SGS Chief Gebon Kataps also extended his heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas the Governor of Taraba State for his remarkable and unwavering commitment and support to the good people of Mambilla Plateau stressing that Dr. Agbu Kefas serve as a beacon of hope for the people of Mambilla Plateau and Taraba State at large. He reassured his unwavering dedication and commitment to the moving forward administration in the State. 

At the 59th AGM festival, Chief Kataps Ngwii was appointed as the (Bierr Mier Mbamnga) which is the Garkuwan Mbamnga Chiefdom. Today in Bang-Fihm where the Tohkimchim rest, HRH Alhaji Abubakar Saleh Dula presented (Spare and Bierr Mier Bag) in accordance with the traditional values in Mbamnga Chiefdom.

The 59th AGM also featured various cultural dances by the BCDA cultural troops depicting the rich history of the Bangos and other cultural groups like the Kaka, Kambu, the Fulani Mbarala dancers and Panso cultural dancers all joined the AGM festival at Bang-Fihm.

The 59th AGM festival attended and graced by distinguished dignitaries and political elites; His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas the Governor of Taraba State ably represented by Alhaji Abubakar Bawa, the Taraba State PDP Chairman, erstwhile Speaker and serving member representing Mbamnga Constituency at the Taraba State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Abel Diah Peter, the Hon. Member representing Gembu Constituency Honourable Abdulazeez Suleiman Titong, Hon. Member representing Nguroje Constituency Hon. Dcn. Nelson Cyprain Len, Hon. Member representing Kurmi Constituency Hon. Tafarki Agbadu Eneme. The Chief Registrar Court of Appeal Barr. Umar Bangari, Hon. Commissioner of Digital Economy Hon. Gideon Nonso Mbaso Samuel and other Commissioners, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Women Affairs and Child Development Rev. Eric Madu Juyoh and other permanent secretaries, the Hon. Chairman SLA Mohamed Umar Jirji, the Tabon of Mambilla Plateau ably represented by the two Queen Mothers; HRH AIG Dr. Aisha Audu Baju II and HRH Dr. Patience Baju II, the Mbonduah of Mbamnga Chiefdom HRH Alhaji Abubakar Saleh Dula, the Mbonduah Kuma Chiefdom HRH Alhaji Adamu J. Gambo, the Chief of Bang HRH Johnson Mbomu Ebah and other traditional rulers, His Excellency the BCDA President Worldwide Engr. Jimmy Johnson Luntsi, Prof. Saidu Adamu H.O.D Accounting Federal University of Kashere, Dr. Danladi Arabs Rukeys HUB Foundation Gombe State, Hon. Mohammed Barup NAFIU FCT Abuja, Hon. The presence of these prominent figures emphasized the significance, values and influence of the BCDA AGM on the Mambilla Plateau and beyond.
