Punarimam Bajo represents Taraba at the National Tennis Tournament in Kano State.

 

As the state's top tennis player, she is competing in the national tennis tournament, specifically at the Dala Hard Court in Kano.

Commencing with the preliminaries, she progressed to qualify for the main draws. Punarimam has achieved a milestone as the first female from Taraba to qualify for the main draws, ultimately losing in the quarterfinals. Her notable achievements include representing the University of Maiduguri at NUGA, where she secured numerous medals and was honored as the best sportswoman of the year for 2012/2013.

She continued to demonstrate excellence, earning additional awards in each tournament she participated in. Moreover, she took part in the West African University Games.
