Renewed Hope Initiative Donates 500,000,000 to Floods Victims in Maiduguri 

..... Nigeria First Lady Commends Governor Zulum For Swift Response 

As part of efforts towards providing support to victims of the devastating flood disaster in maiduguri, Sen Oluremi Tinubu the First Lady of Nigeria and chairman Renewed Hope initiative has donated five hundred million naira to Borno State Government. The donation aimed at complementing efforts of the State in providing relief to those affected.

While Making the donation at the Government House the First Lady represented by Wife of the Vice President and the vice Chairman of Renewed Hope Initiative Hajiya Nana Shettima  commiserated with the People of Borno over the natural disaster which has a devastating impact on the lives, property and source of livelihood of the people 

Hajiya Nana Shettima informed the Borno State Governor Professor Babagana Umara Zulum mni that they are in maiduguri at the instance of Senator Oluremi Tinubu to express their deepest condolences over the sad occurrence. She encouraged them to find comfort knowing that its the will of the Almighty . 

Hajiya Nana Shettima also praised the Governor of Borno State for the swift response to the disaster and support the government is rendering to victims . 

Professor Babagana Zullum expressed gratitude to the First Lady for the concern shown to the state. A cheque of Five Hundred Million was then presented to the Governor 

Earlier the Wife of the Vice President and her entourage visited the palace of the Shehu of Borno to condole with the Royal Father the shehu of Borno His Eminence Dr Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Al Amin Elkanemi emphasized the need for a permanent measures to prevent future occurrence.
