Governor Kefas flags-of disbursement of N524 Million to 10,449 Persons Across The State.

Atleast N524 million have been disbursement  to 10,449 persons across the 16 local government areas by Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba state.

Flagging of the disbursement of the Covid 19 federal government grant in Jalingo  Mr. Kefas says this gesture will help the beneficiaries expand their small and medium enterprises and ensure the local economy is revived to create more jobs.

The governor was represented by his Deputy saying that  the state government is particularly interested in alleviating the sufferings of vulnerable households through the disbursement of grants.

Mr. Alkali is optimistic that with the current trajectory and focus of the state government, Taraba will soon have no record of vulnerable

persons.

The state Commissioner for Co-operative and Poverty Alleviation, James

Habu, says the beneficiaries are getting between N50,000 to N200,00 each

as support.

The disbursement of the N524 million COVID-19 federal government grant marks a significant step by the Taraba State government toward supporting small and medium enterprises, alleviating poverty, and boosting the local economy.
