Support Governor Agbu Kefas and his Policies - Rev. Jolly Nyame

Tarabans have been call upon to support the current Administration of Governor Kefas Agbu for the development of the State.

The former Governor of Taraba State, Rev. Jolly Tavoro Nyame made this call during the Youth and Young Adult Ministry of the Southern Conference of the United Methodist Church UMC held at the UMC Camp ground, Apawa, Lau Local Government Area, Taraba State.

The former governor  was represented by Hon. Celestine David Kovona .

In his remarks, the Director Connectional Ministries of the United Methodist Church UMC Rev. Dr. Philip Micah Dopah urged Youths to be Holy.

As the Theme for this year: Without Holliness, you can't see God, Hebrew 12:14. The UMC should demostrate Holliness also.

He urged the Youths of UMC to exhibit  cleanliness especially at the UMC Camp ground.

"You should devote at least one hour to clean your Environment" Said Dopah.

He also call on them to add value to the teachings received during the program for the development of the society in general.

Rev. Dopah further advise the Youths to be creative rather than relying on the Government.

The Hon Commissioner of the Ministry of Waste Management and Innovation Hon. Shonzen J Benard in his speech appreciate the UMC Youth Southern Conference for turning up in good numbers for their Conference. He told them his door is open for all of them. He encourages the youth to respect the law.

He reiterate that as the Commissioner he needs their cooperation to ensure that Taraba State is kept Clean adding that Cleanliness is next to Godliness.

The Commissioner of the Ministry of Education Dr. Augustina Godwin also through her representative urged the youths and Taraban to take advantage of the free Education policy of Dr. Agbu Kefas to ensure that they enrolled their Children and Wards to attend School.

The Commissioner also pleaded for prayers for Dr. Agbu Kefas and his Cabinet to Succeed.

The representative of the Commissioner, Ministry of Digital Economy and Innovation Hon. Gideon Nonso Mbaso   also urged the youths to pray for them to ensure that they succeed in carrying out their responsibilities.

"Through my Ministry, many youths will be equipped with Digital Skills that will make them employers of Labour" he Said

The Hon  Commissioner of Youths and Sports Taraba State Hon. Joseph Joshua  advised Youths in the state to  love one another. He caution Youths in the state to be law abiding and embrace each other in love. 

The Commissioner frown at Youths who spent their times on negative Criticism and unguided Speech.

The Commissioner of Youth and Sports who  was represented by  Evang. Ephesian Jesse   JP State Chairman Youth Wing CAN Taraba state  urged Youths in the state and Taraban to pray and support the administration of Governor Kefas Agbu, the executive Governor of Taraba state.
